Upon Duration of Student Authorization
Section 14 of the Immigration Manual provides that student authorizations issued
for post-secondary education should be issued for the length of the course of
study. In the case of secondary education, student authorizations will be
issued for a one year period unless the student is a dependent of a person
who has been issued long term status in Canada.
